Phylogeny of the Cirratuliformia

A morphological cladistic analysis by Rouse & Pleijel (2003) suggested that seven other taxa recognised as families may be nested within Cirratulidae. These include Acrocirridae, Ctenodrilidae, Fauveliopsidae, Flabelligeridae, Flotidae, Poeobiidae and Sternaspidae.
